Grew up on a farm north of Somers, Iowa that was a corn and soybean rotation farm with primarily cattle as the livestock active in 4-H and sports. Had six sisters and no brothers so did a lot of chores but dishes were not one of them. Graduated from Iowa State in 1984 in Agricultural Business and has been is business management since 1985. Joined the Farm News advertising team in January of 2003 and has been running the sales department ever since.
